Motorized Garage Storage Lifts

Ceiling-mounted lifts that come down to you. Load them standing on the garage floor, press a button, and several hundred pounds of bins, gear or tires goes overhead and out of the way — no ladder, and nothing lifted above your head.

Before You Buy

Most of it comes down to your ceiling, your clearance, and a nearby outlet.

Three things decide it: ceiling framing, clear space, and a power outlet. Lifts mount to steel strut channels spanning at least three joists, so standard wood framing is what they're built for. You need the platform's footprint clear of garage door tracks, opener rails, lighting and ductwork, and a standard household outlet within 10 feet. If you have engineered trusses, a finished ceiling, or living space above the garage, talk to us or a contractor before ordering.

Not necessarily. The platform lifts and the Auxx-One are within reach of a confident DIYer with a helper, and full guides and video tutorials are published by the manufacturer. The Attic-Lift is different — it requires cutting and framing an opening in your attic floor, and most people hire that out. Auxx-Lift arranges installer referrals directly on 805-798-0008, though coverage isn't guaranteed in every city and installation is quoted per job.

The platform lift is a 4' × 8' deck that lowers to your garage floor; it's the one for bins, totes and bulk storage. The Attic-Lift runs up through an opening into your attic, so it moves storage into space you already have. The Auxx-One is a beam rather than a deck — you hang things from it with hooks and straps, which makes it right for bikes, kayaks, cargo boxes and ladders, and wrong for loose boxes.

Free shipping within the Continental U.S., direct from the manufacturer, typically about a week. Lifts arrive in two or three separate cartons that don't always come on the same truck, so a partial delivery is normal. Inspect before signing the delivery receipt and note any damage before you sign. Uninstalled lifts carry a 60-day money-back guarantee with a 25% restocking fee on change-of-mind returns; full terms are on our Auxx-Lift Product Terms page.

About Motorized Garage Storage Lifts

A garage lift solves the problem no shelf can: the ceiling is the largest unused surface in most garages, and everything heavy enough to be worth storing up there is too heavy to carry up a ladder. These lifts mount overhead and come down to you on a remote — you load at standing height and send the whole thing back up in about thirty seconds. Capacities run from 400 to 600 pounds across 4' × 8' platforms, attic lifts that pass through your ceiling, and a beam-style lift with 22 feet of travel for bikes and bulky gear. Every model here ships free within the Continental U.S., carries a two-year manufacturer warranty, and is sold at the manufacturer's advertised price.
