Before you buy — measure your space
-
Height clearance: at 72" tall this needs a clear 6 feet, plus room to tip it upright during assembly. Check for low garage door tracks, shelving and ceiling slopes above where it will stand.
-
Door swing: the doors open on the 30" face — allow clearance in front, not just for the cabinet footprint.
-
It ships flat. The carton is 73 inches long but only 7.5 inches thick, so it comes as panels and assembles in place. You will not be wrestling a built cabinet through a doorway.
-
Shelf capacity is per shelf, evenly distributed. 75 lbs spread across the shelf is not the same as 75 lbs in one corner.
Dimensions above are published by Suncast Corporation for model BMC7200. Shelf spacing is adjustable; Suncast does not publish the increments. If a specific clearance matters for what you plan to store, call us at 208-656-1906 before ordering and we will measure it for you.
Need a fourth shelf?
Suncast makes an add-on shelf for this cabinet — part BMC3020, 28" W × 17.75" D, rated for the same 75 lbs as the three shelves included here. It sits on the same moulded supports inside the cabinet, so there are no brackets to buy and nothing to cut.
We don't stock it. Suncast sells it directly at suncast.com for around $23, and Menards carries it as well. We'd rather point you straight at it than have you hunting for a part number.
